Tsambika is one of the most beautiful beaches in Rhodes. It is situated on the eastern coast of the island, about 26km south of Rhodes town. It is 800 meters long and very wide beach has fine golden sand and only a few pebbles. The turquoise water is shallow and crystal clear.
Facilities at the beach include sun beds, umbrellas, water sports, canteens and tavernas, and a mini-market.
Plenty of space for playing and shallow water make Tsambika beach very suitable for families and children of all ages.
Kalithea Beach / Springs is a spa, which dates all the way back to the classical Antiquity, but the current facilities were built by the Italians in 1929. After a thorough renovation, the beautiful facilities reopened as a museum with an adjoining beach in the summer of 2007.
The beach in Kalithea Springs is fairly small, but it is peaceful and the surroundings are very beautiful.
It is a mixture of sand, gravel and pebbles. The water is shallow and usually completely calm.
Natural stone surfaces ideal for reclining under the sun, pine trees reaching down to the water’s edge, emerald green water – Anthony Quinn certainly showed impeccable taste when he fell in love with its miniature bay. The beach is known today by the actor’s name since he bought this part of the island when filming “The Guns of Navarone” here.

The picturesque beach is very popular and tends to get crowded in the summer months, especially in July and August.
The main beach in Lindos have fine golden sand. The water is clear and shallow. Services include sunbeds, umbrellas, changing facilities and restaurants.
The various paths down from Lindos village are quite steep and it can be a heavy uphill slog home after a heat-soaked day at the beach.

St Paul’s Bay is a very picturesque bay just behind the village of Lindos. It is claimed that St Paul landed here in the year 51 AD to preach Christianity to the Rhodians. There is a small church built there after his name.
There are two beaches in the bay. The large beach in the southern end is with golden sand. The smaller beach at the northern end of the bay is a mix of sand and gravel.
Facilities at both beaches include sun loungers, sun shades, toilets and a coffee shops.
The beaches in St Pauls Bay are relatively uncrowded and very relaxed.
The bay is a great place for snorkeling and diving. No other water sports.
Ladiko beach is situated on the east coast of Rhodes, about 15 km south of Rhodes
The picturesque Ladiko beach is situated in a beautiful bay, which is surrounded by hills. The quite small beach has fine sand with small rocks scattered all around. The water is clean and clear, with a gentle slope into the sea.
The beach is a popular choice among locals and holidaymakers, so it tends to get very crowded in July and August.

Kolymbia has several lovely beaches to choose between, and two of these are quite large.
The main beach is located in the southern part of town. The beach is covered with coarse sand, which stretches all the way into the clear and relatively shallow water.
The other large beach is located in the northern part of town. This beach consists of coarse sand as well, but also has sections with pebbles. There are sun lounges, sunshades, showers and changing facilities.
Faliraki is situated on the northeastern coast of Rhodes, about 14 km south of the town of Rhodes.
The 4 kilometers long sandy beach in Faliraki is definitely one of the most popular beaches in Rhodes.
Services include sun beds, umbrellas, showers and public toilets.
Here you can find anything you can possibly ask for – water sports, cafeterias, nightclubs, restaurants, bungee-jumping, places for shopping and more.
Agathi beach is located on the east coast of Rhodes, at a walking distance from the village of Haraki.
After a drive down a dusty, winding road you will discover a picturesque beach set against a mountainous background. Agathi beach is one of the best beaches in Rhodes. The beach has soft golden sand and crystal clear waters, perfect for swimming, sunbathing and relaxation.
Agathi beach has soft sand and shallow water, making it ideal for families with children.
This sandy beach at the southernmost point of the island is the paradise for windsurfers from all over the world, especially in July and August! The beach is divided in two parts by a big sandy strip, combining two types of beach in one. Calm and deep water on one side, high waves and shallow waters on the other. This amazing beach is definitely worth visiting, even if you do not surf.
